ABOUT JAMES FRYER

thehumanform-117.jpg

My passion is helping others. I don’t have some miraculous life changing moment where it all came together for me. It’s just been a culmination of little moments that made me think “we” could do better, or better yet, “I” can do better than what’s currently offered.

I'm an anatomy and biomechanics nerd and a Licensed Massage Therapist. My background started in strength and conditioning and my interest slowly moved to breathing dysfunctions and developmental movement.

I'm constantly looking to evolve, but currently integrating proper breathing mechanics, while adding simple but effective movement adjustments to improve your life.

Now that we got that stuff out of the way... here are some other fun facts about me:

  • I was a collegiate baseball catcher (insert inappropriate joke about working my way through college on my knees HERE).

  •  I have a freaky knack for remembering a lot of random detailed information, as long as it pertains to humans, health, or fitness in some way. As for other topics, my memory is so bad that I could plan my own surprise party.

  • I love being in charge of a hot grill, fixing up a variety of meats and veggies. I would definitely become a chef if I have a mid-life crisis.

  • I do love my red wine. Chiantis and Montepulcianos have my heart.

  • If I could be a superhero, I would be Wolverine. Mostly because he embodies the opposite of my own personality. Plus who wouldn’t want adamantium claws and the ability to self heal?

  • I don't think I could live without coffee... kind of a joke, but not really.

  • I've spent over 10,000 hours working with clients in person. You could say I've done this a time or two.
